Kings Bay Firefighter Association at a Glance
As the Kings Bay Firefighter Association, we strive to provide a service not only to our firefighters, but to our communities as well. Throughout the year we conduct several fund raising events to help support the local communities through charity events and we also host the Department Annual Christmas Party. Over the years, the Association has provided donations to many local charities and organizations and with your support we can continue to strengthen that mission. Please feel free to speak to one of our members on how you can become involved with Association events or fund raisers.

Butts for Baskets
Every November the Kings Bay Firefighter Association hosts a Boston Butt cook to help with providing Thanksgiving Dinners to local families that need assistance. The Association sells pork dinners as well as whole Boston Butts to raise the monies that are donated. This project is in coordination with the Kings Bay Chapel and this effort provided meals to over 70 families in our community in 2019.
Purple Heart Parking
The Kings Bay Firefighter Association sponsored an initiative to honor the service and sacrifice of the Purple Heart recipients that live and visit our community. Across town you will see in the near future Purple Heart Parking Spots located at several of our local retailers. We are honored to provide this small service to these most deserving heroes.
MDA Fill the Boot Drive
The Kings Bay Firefighter Association along with fire departments across the country participate in the annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Boot Drive. This fund raiser helps provide needed resources to children who are suffered from muscular dystrophy. The MDA also continues to research cures for this disease that affects over 600 new children annually.
